Co-founder and sometime executive director of Toronto Animation Arts Festival International, or TAAFI, Toronto’s biggest festival celebrating the art of animation and the entire Toronto animation community. Named as one of Animation Magazine’s ‘Can’t Miss’ Events worldwide!
Working with our supporters, Ben endeavours to nurture and grow the animation community and industry within Toronto and Canada as a source of amazing content and opportunities for artists and businesses. His responsibilities include revenue and strategic partner development, marketing, community and industry relations and general management of the festival, where he works with members of the animation community and industry to generate support for festival objectives and mandate.
Key partners have included Corus Entertainment / Nelvana, Fresh TV, Elliott Animation, Pipeline Studios, Autodesk, Sheridan College, Seneca College, Teletoon, ToonBoom, 9 Story Entertainment, CultureONE, Atomic Cartoons and many, many other fantastic supporters including over 1000+ annual attendees, dozens of business and community partners, as well as 100+ volunteer STAAFI.
