Goran Backman, VFX Supervisor, Pixomondo

Goran Backman is a VFX Supervisor at Pixomondo, weaving together his passions for art and technology in to a two-decade career in the visual effects industry. As a VFX Supervisor he most recently worked on The Mandalorian and Perry Mason, and held the title of CG Supervisor on Star Trek: Discovery and Wonder Woman among others. Having a variety of roles throughout his profession has allowed Goran to explore a wide set of topics ranging from developing pipeline tools, creating fantastical photoreal creatures and producing real-time content with Pixomondo's upcoming virtual production studio.

Steve Hong, Animation Supervisor, Pixomondo

Steve Hong is an Animation Supervisor at Pixomondo, having most recently worked on such TV shows as The Mandalorian, Star Trek: Discovery, The Boys, and Carnival Row. Over the past decade, Steve's animation skills brought to life many commercials and cartoons before making its way to visual effects. His work will next be seen in the upcoming Gerard Butler action feature, Greenland.

Winrik Haentjens, CG Supervisor, Pixomondo

Winrik Haentjens is a CG Supervisor at Pixomondo, having most recently worked on the Emmy-winning series The Mandalorian and Star Trek: Discovery. Throughout most of his 13-year career in the visual effects industry, Winrik worked as a CG generalist, using every aspect of Maya and other software to create visuals for feature films, commercials, and prime time television. He was nominated for Best Visual Effects at the 2016 Canadian Screen Awards for his work on Haven. Along with his career in VFX, he has been working as an instructor at George Brown College's VFX program since 2016. Winrik is also an avid classical sculptor and artist in his spare time, where he explores creating various works in a multitude of mediums.
