<p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0)">“Way way back in early oughties…” There was a show called Clone High. It only got one season but inspired a devoted cult following that continues to this day. And now, like all the cartoons that ended too soon-- it's back and better then ever! Better yet; it's worked on by our good friends over at Jam Filled!</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0)">Join us for a special in-depth look with animation director Ray Ocampo, background supervisor Brian Woods, production manager Meagan Borosch, and animation supervisor Kristin Handley, as they tell us just how they unthawed these frozen Clones and brought them back to our screens-- and our hearts!</span></p><p><br></p>

<p><span>Kristin Handley has been in the animation industry since 2005. With experience in Traditional, 2D Flash and Harmony Animation, as well as 3D Animation, she has been able to work in all four disciplines in studios across Ontario. Kristin has been a proud member of the Jam Filled team for the past 7 years, working as an Animation Supervisor on several of their top-rated shows including; Final Space, The Casagrandes, A Tale Dark and Grimm, We Lost Our Human and Clone High.</span></p>

<p><span>Meagan has been part of Jam Filled's Toronto production team for seven years - some of her projects include A Tale Dark &amp; Grimm, Final Space, and Clone High. She is currently working on Dino Ranch.</span></p>

Meagan Borosch

<p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0)">Ray graduated from Ottawa's Algonquin College animation program in 1999.&nbsp; He began working as a traditional key animator on children's television series such as "Tales From The Cryptkeeper", and "Franklin The Turtle".&nbsp; In 2003, he started his career as a digital animator.&nbsp; He continued to work on kids shows such as "Carl Squared" and "The Cat In The Hat".&nbsp; In the span of a decade, he had worked for half a dozen studios in Ottawa. producing work as a character designer, and traditional and digital animator.&nbsp; In 2011, he joined Jam Filled Entertainment as a character animator working on "Camp Lakebottom".&nbsp; He started work as an animation supervisor for Jam Filled in 2015 on "The Loud House", and continued to supervise until 2019.&nbsp; At this time, he became an animation director for Jam Filled.&nbsp; He has directed "Final Space", "The Casagrandes", and "Clone High".</span></p>

<p>I am a Communications &amp; Art enthusiast who loves to dance and help others. I have over 15 years of experience working in diverse creative fields, and for the last 5+ years, with an emphasis on the VFX &amp; Animation industry. I launched The Money Awareness Pathway (The M.A.P.) in 2022, a money coaching and consulting service for creators. The M.A.P provides a comprehensive approach to money management, integrating principles from personal and business finance, neuroeconomics, and psychology.</p><p><br>Having worked in film, media production, events, and the arts for over a decade, has helped me understand the unique challenges that creative professionals face when it comes to managing their finances. My expertise in diverse areas of finance within the creative economy allows me to help other creatives gain financial confidence and offer tailored solutions that address their specific needs. </p><p><br>As a Certified Money Coach (CMC)®, my goal and focus is set on empowering creative professionals navigate financial challenges, overcome money-related obstacles, and unlock their true potential. Through one-on-one coaching sessions, workshops, and online resources, I guide my clients to develop financial awareness, create effective money strategies, and find their unique path to financial and creative success.</p>

These producers know that better than most, as their studios take on an eclectic array of work that requires them to be flexible and adaptable in how they get it done.</p><p></p><p>Josh Bowen (Look Mom! Productions) is joined by Tysen Potter (Little Blackstone Studios) and Dale Hayward (See Creature Productions) for a discussion about the challenges and benefits of approaching each project as a unique opportunity to do things differently.</p>

Creative Adaptability: Unique Solutions for Every Project 

<p><span>Dale Hayward is a Canadian director and animator, who believes anything can be animated. He specializes in stop-motion and is the co-founder of See Creature Productions and See Learn Academy. He is the co-director of the award winning short film Bone Mother, and has worked on a wide range of productions, from Netflix’s The Little Prince to Kiri &amp; Lou to commercials for Nike, Tim Hortons and Hot Wheels.</span></p>

Dale Hayward

<p><span style="color: rgb(55, 65, 81)">Josh started Look Mom! Productions in 2016. The studio specializes in adult animated comedy for teens and adults. Some of the studio's notable productions include Gary and His Demons (Amazon) and Doomlands (Roku).</span></p>

<p><span style="color: rgb(55, 65, 81)">Tysen is an Emmy nominated and Oscar shortlisted producer, and is currently the lead producer and head of development at Little Blackstone Studios and Big Studios. Prior to joining the world of animation he began his production career over a decade ago in advertising. He has since produced films and series for Netflix, HBO, Peacock, Disney, ESPN, FIFA and many more. In the past year, a few of Tysen’s notable projects include producing the Women’s World Cup for FIFA, segments of NFL Sunday Funday with ESPN and Pixar, and a new documentary series with Netflix.</span></p>
