speakerMODERATOR

Camila Francisco, CG Animation Lead

Raised in the serene countryside of São Paulo, Brazil,  I now call Toronto, Canada, my home. My journey into the realm of animation was ignited when I first encountered Pixar's groundbreaking 3D animation short, "The Adventures of André and Wally B." This captivating experience kindled a deep love for the enchanting world of CG animation and the mesmerizing creativity that drives the film industry.

Soon after, witnessing the behind-the-scenes process of "Ice Age," masterfully crafted by Director Carlos Saldanha, solidified my conviction that 3D animation was my destined path.  This revelation propelled me towards specializing in 3D animation and VFX at the prestigious Vancouver Film School.

In the years that followed, I immersed myself wholeheartedly in the realms of animation and VFX, accumulating over 8 years of hands-on experience. This journey has graced me with the honor of contributing to a diverse array of Film and TV productions, not only refining my technical prowess but also nurturing my ability to thrive within collaborative team dynamics.
