I bought a ticket but I can't unlock the screening. What's the deal?
Make sure you are using the same email and password you used to buy the ticket. If you create a different password or are using a different email the site doesn't know you have tickets. Check yourself before you Shrek yourself.
Where can I view the full schedule?
Where do I watch the films? And do I have to buy a pass or a ticket?
You watch the films on the Eventive Site. You have to buy a Pass to watch the features, but you can watch shorts or talks with just tickets.
Can I attend from anywhere in the world?
Yup!
What’s the time zone for this event?
The event will be held in the Eastern Standard time zone (EDT).
What is Spatial Chat? And what is this Virtual Red Carpet nonsense?
Spatial Chat is like a zoom call, but your webcam is a bubble, and you can move yourself around on the screen. We've animated 4 different backgrounds you can move around in, and the closer you are to someone the more you can hear them.
Why can't I unlock or reserve features?
The features this year have capacity locks. So to make sure people don't reserve a ticket and then not show up, we've made it so the first 400 or 500 people who show up get into Wolfwalkers, The Croods: A New Age, or Heavy Metal. Be on time and I'm sure you'll get a spot.
What is Discord and why do people talk about it?
Discord is like a big chatroom where TAAFI Film Festival attendees can message each other, chat on various topics, and have video chats with each other. It's great.
Can I watch screenings after?
YES. But there's a catch. You have to reserve a ticket, or unlock the screening. Then you have one week to watch it. Features are not the same. Once we max out attendance they are done.
