Céline Desrumaux, Production Designer, Pearl Studio

Céline Desrumaux is an award-winning production designer. She has worked on numerous projects including Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Back to the Moon, Asterix, and Hotel Transylvania 3. Céline was nominated for an Annie Award in 2017 for her production design on The Little Prince. The following year she worked with Google Spotlight Stories and Chromosphere on the John Kahrs directed animated short Age of Sail, for which was awarded both an Emmy and Annie Award in 2019 for her production design. Céline has recently finished as production designer on the acclaimed animated feature Over the Moon, produced by Netflix and Pearl Studio.

Guillermo Martinez, Director, Sony Pictures Animation

Guillermo Martinez is a director at Sony Pictures Animation. Martinez most recently served as head of story on Sony Pictures Animation’s upcoming original feature comedy Connected. Prior to joining Sony Pictures Animation, Martinez served as a story artist at Laika Studios on Kubo and the Two Strings and Missing Link. Martinez’s additional credits include storyboard artist and writer on the Cartoon Network series We Bare Bears. Also at Cartoon Network, he developed a short film for the show Clarence. Martinez was born and raised in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and earned his bachelors in design at the Escuela de Artes Plasticas in San Juan, Puerto Rico before attending Academy of Art University for his masters. He currently lives in Culver City with his wife, daughter and two plants.

Kris Pearn, Director & Writer, Netflix

Kris Pearn was born and raised in Canada. After graduating from Sheridan College, Kris has spent most of his life making cartoons for both film and television. His credits include: Open Season, Surf’s Up, Arthur Christmas, Shawn the Sheep, Pirates: Band of Misfits, and Home to name a few. He was Head of Story on Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, and co-directed Cloudy Two: Rise of the Leftovers. He has most recently written and directed the Netflix animated feature THE WILLOUGHBYS based on the novel by Lois Lowry. Kris has been nominated for several Annies, has taught at Sheridan College, lectures all over the world through Schoolism, and has given a Ted Talk called “The Optimistic Opportunity of Failure”. He has illustrated several books including: Edward The Tree Climbing Dog, Project Superhero, and Tales of Spiffing. He still loves to draw.

Simone Giampaolo , Director, Aardman Animations

Simone Giampaolo is a London-based director and animator with an insatiable appetite for storytelling. In 2013 he graduated with Distinction from the BA (Hons) Computer Animation Arts course at the National Centre for Computer Animation in Bournemouth (UK). Between 2014 and 2018 Simone worked as animation director and CG generalist in the commercial department at Blue-Zoo Animation on a multitude of projects for clients such as Cartoon Network, Disney, LEGO, Nickelodeon, Marvel, Lucasfilm and BBC. After finishing crafting a mini-series at Jellyfish Pictures in 2019, he’s been directing several commissioned films at Aardman Animations (which is representing him as short-form director).
