<p>Growing up in Ghana, Gyimah discovered his love of drawing while bringing his favorite cartoon characters to life. His distinct style has been praised by Forbes Magazine, who named him one of “15 Young African Creative’s Rebranding Africa” in 2015. He has a self-published Children’s book, The Little Black Cloud, and an independent comic book published by Shortbox called Navel Gazing. </p><p>Gyimah’s career started before he graduated from Sheridan College, when he joined the character design team for Black Dynamite.&nbsp;</p><p>Since then, he has worked on a variety of hit shows including Steven Universe, True and the Rainbow Kingdom and Justin Time GO!, where he was the lead character designer.</p><p>Gyimah’s clients range from musicians to sports broadcaster ESPN. He has also designed covers for Marvel Comics and worked to create promotional content for clothing and sportswear brand Adidas. In 2020, Gyimah was named one of Animation Magazine’s Rising Stars of Animation.&nbsp;</p><p>Most recently, Gyimah is the creator of Guru Studio’s newest animated original series, Big Blue, which features a diverse cast of human and animal underwater explorers on a zany mission to protect an underwater planet, and is set to air on CBC next year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Gary Ye is the Supervising Director for Devil May Care at Titmouse Inc. He's been a BG Designer, Compositor, and Storyboard Artist during his time in the animation industry, working on shows for Dreamworks TV, CBS, Titmouse Inc and Atomic Cartoons. He's also done work for a variety of smaller projects, including creating animated bumpers for Adult Swim, and most recently storyboards for the opening titles of "The Last Kids on Earth", and boards on the music video for "Robbed" (Manila Luzon ft. Latrice Royal). He spends his free time making short films, a few of which have somehow screened internationally at festivals like Annecy, SXSW and TAAFI.&nbsp;</p><p>As a human being, he's a trash man with trash tastes who's way too into internet horror.</p>

Guillermo Martinez

<p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent;">Kris Pearn was born and raised in Canada.&nbsp;After graduating from Sheridan College, Kris has spent most of his life making cartoons for both film and television.&nbsp;His credits include: Open Season, Surf’s Up, Arthur Christmas, Shawn the Sheep, Pirates: Band of Misfits, and Home to name a few.&nbsp;He was Head of Story on Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, and co-directed Cloudy Two: Rise of the Leftovers.&nbsp;He has most recently written and directed the Netflix animated feature THE WILLOUGHBYS based on the novel by Lois Lowry.&nbsp;Kris has been nominated for several Annies, has taught at Sheridan College, lectures all over the world through Schoolism, and has given a Ted Talk called “The Optimistic Opportunity of Failure”.&nbsp;He has illustrated several books including: Edward The Tree Climbing Dog, Project Superhero, and Tales of Spiffing.&nbsp;He still loves to draw.&nbsp;</span></p><p><br></p>

<p>Guillermo Martinez is a director at Sony Pictures Animation. Martinez most recently served as head of story on Sony Pictures Animation’s upcoming original feature comedy <em>Connected</em>. Prior to joining Sony Pictures Animation, Martinez served as a story artist at Laika Studios on <em>Kubo and the Two Strings</em> and <em>Missing Link</em>. Martinez’s additional credits include storyboard artist and writer on the Cartoon Network series <em>We Bare Bears</em>. Also at Cartoon Network, he developed a short film for the show <em>Clarence</em>. Martinez was born and raised in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and earned his bachelors in design at the Escuela de Artes Plasticas in San Juan, Puerto Rico before attending Academy of Art University for his masters. He currently lives in Culver City with his wife, daughter and two plants.</p>
