Want to know how to nail that perfect pitch? The Perfect Pitch Program is TAAFI’s in-depth, professional-level workshop designed to help creators refine and present their pitch with confidence and clarity. This full-day event gives attendees the opportunity to be taught by and receive feedback from industry creatives, and form meaningful connections with industry mentors and fellow peers.
Once your application has been accepted, we will contact you regarding payment. Payment is required for individuals/pairs/teams to secure their spot in the program, as spaces are limited.
If you wish to participate in a team larger than 2, we can discuss pricing after the application is accepted.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a standalone paid program that is not included with a Mega Pass or Conference pass, and is focused on developing your pitch and presentation skills,
NOT getting projects green-lit and produced.

PERFECT PITCH PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Location: TIFF LIGHTBOX (350 King St W, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5)
Date: Sunday, April 12th, 2026
Time: 10am - 6pm
Format & Structure:
The program is divided into three main components:
Workshop (Morning, 2 hours)
A workshop led by experienced industry professionals. Participants will learn practical tools to strengthen their pitches, from story structure and tone, to delivery and presentation.Lunch Break (1 hour)
Lunch will be provided for all attending mentors and participants. This is an informal opportunity to network and connect before the afternoon pitch sessions begin. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions and allergies in advance of the event.Three-on-One Pitch Panels (Afternoon, 5 hours, 30 mins per pitch)
After lunch, participants will present their projects in three-on-one sessions, each paired with a mentor panel consisting of a Producer, Director, and Writer.
