If there ever was a TAAFI ALLSTAR it would be John Musker. John first crossed the border for our Animation Industry Conference back in 2019 and talked about co-directing and hosted a caricature masterclass at Hotel Ocho.
Then he beat us all at pool at the Rivoli.
He ran the slide hard at Corus and took some of the most silly pictures with Grayden, our STAAFI photographer for years. Musker beat the hats off both Mike and Barnabas, the shirt of Grayden and the beard off Spencer!
Then when we were down in the dumps during covid, John appeared virtually to host a critique on some of the films during our virtual film festival spring of 2021. Locked in your basement became bearable when John made a special appearance and moderated the Student Shorts.
Now he’s back to not only share his brand new swinging 4 minute film I’m Hip, but to also snag the Kaj Pindal Award. Do yourself a favour and get a VIP Pass so you can check out this film in an intimate setting on Friday on the 8th Floor of Corus. John will screen I’m Hip and also field questions and take adore-able selfies with you and sign autographs deep into the night...

But in all seriousness, we are blessed to host John Musker once again and congratulate him on his Film and his award! He's so humble, kind, generous and inspiring and we are all better for knowing him. Three cheers to the threepeat of Mr. John Musker!
